It doesn’t matter who you are or what your position is at work, everyone struggles with work-life balance to some extent. Even I do sometimes and I’m a coach! Especially now that we have these smart devices with us all the time, it’s so easy to stay connected with our businesses 24/7. Even though I know the importance of work-life balance, I have to remind myself all the time, that I am the best version of myself when I am taking time out to recharge myself.
I have to carve out time to exercise and stay active and to eat healthy. I have to protect time with my kids, spouse, friends and family and make sure that they know that they are important and a true source of joy in my life. The reality is, I have to refocus my work-life balance on a regular basis and I’m sure I’m not alone.
